We Are

Genuine Pictures is an award-winning independent television production company based in Ottawa, Canada. Since 1997, we have produced nearly 370 episodes of high quality, content-driven television for Canadian networks, specialty channels and international partners.

Our production slate includes fourteen series and more than a dozen one-off documentaries, as well as drama, comedy and music specials. Our children's programs have been honoured with numerous national awards, including two Alliance for Children and Television Award of Excellence nominations and a Gemini award (plus three nominations) for the hit Canadian series A World of Wonders.
